Goup Jump

Privacy Policy

Last updated 13 September 2026 · Version 0.0.0

The short version: you can play Goup Jump without an account, and if you do, we store nothing about you. Connecting a Google Play Games account is optional — it saves your coins, skins and best score so they survive a new phone, and it is the only way to buy anything with real money. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind, connected or not.

This policy describes how the mobile game Goup Jump ("the game", "we", "us"), published by enpo, handles information. It applies to the Android application with the package name com.enpo.goupjump.

1. Playing without an account

The game is fully playable with no account. In that state your best score, coins, gems and unlocked characters live only in the game's private storage on your phone, and we hold nothing that could identify you.

Two things still leave your device, and neither identifies you:

Both are anonymous requests that send nothing about you. Like any web request they reach our hosting provider with your device's IP address, which their infrastructure logs briefly for security and abuse prevention. We do not read those logs to identify players, and we do not link them to anything.

2. Connecting a Google Play Games account

Connecting is optional, and the game asks only when you choose it in Settings or when you try to buy something with real money.

Android may sign you in to Google Play Games automatically when the game starts, because that is how Play Games works on your device. That sign-in is between you and Google.

We never create an account for you without you asking. If you have connected before — on this phone or another — the game reconnects you automatically at launch, so reinstalling does not lose your coins and skins. Doing that means asking our server whether it already knows your Play Games player ID. If the answer is no, no account is created and nothing about you is kept, apart from the short-lived abuse counter described below, which is not linked to any account.

When you connect, we create an account for you and store:

WhatWhy
A random identifier we generate for youTo hold your progress under something that is not your Google identity
Your Google Play Games player IDSo we recognise you next time. It is an identifier Google gives the game; it is not your email address, and it is different for every game you play
Coin and gem balancesSo your earnings survive a reinstall or a new phone
Characters and outfits you ownThe same
Best score and number of runsThe same
Records of purchases: the Google purchase token, order number and what it grantedSo a purchase can be verified, restored, and not paid out twice
Codes you redeem: which reward a code gave and when (a one-use code also records that it was you who used it)So each code gives its reward once per account, and a one-use code works once
Gifts from our support: what was given, the title and note you see in the game, and our reason for sending itTo put right a problem you reported, and to keep a record of what we changed on your account
When the account was created and last usedBasic operation and abuse prevention

We do not store your name, your email address, your profile picture, your contacts, your location, or any advertising identifier. We never receive your Google password.

Stopping abuse. So that nobody can flood our server — which would stop sign-in and purchases working for everybody — we count how often requests arrive, per account and per internet address. This covers every request to sign in, save progress, make a purchase or redeem a code, including the automatic check at launch described above. The address is never stored as itself: it is scrambled with a secret key into a code that cannot be turned back into the address, and the two kinds of count are never joined to each other. Each count is deleted within minutes of its time window closing, so no count is kept for more than about a quarter of an hour, and counts are used for nothing else.

When you contact support. To find your account we ask for the order number on Google's receipt email, or the Player ID shown in the game's Settings — the random identifier above, which you can copy there. We look accounts up one at a time and cannot browse a list of players. We keep a record that a lookup happened and whether it found an account, but not what was looked up.

3. Who processes this, and where

Our backend runs on Supabase (Supabase, Inc.), which hosts the database on our behalf as a data processor. They do not use your data for their own purposes. Their handling is governed by the Supabase Privacy Policy.

Data is stored in the region we selected when the project was created: Data region to be added.

We use no other third-party service. There is no analytics provider, no advertising network, no crash-reporting service and no tracker of any kind.

4. How long we keep it

Your account and its progress are kept until you ask us to delete them, or until the game is discontinued and its servers shut down. We do not expire accounts for inactivity, because someone coming back after two years should find their skins where they left them.

Purchase records are the exception: we keep them for as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after an account is deleted, because we are obliged to. They are kept only as a record of a transaction.

The abuse-prevention counts in section 2 are the other exception, in the opposite direction: they are deleted within minutes, whether or not you have an account.

A gift from support is shown to you in the game for 30 days, and the record of it — including our reason — is kept with your account and deleted with it. So are the codes you have redeemed.

5. Purchases

Optional in-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never receive, see or store your payment card, billing address or Google account details.

Google gives the game a receipt token confirming a purchase succeeded. We send that token to our own server, which asks Google whether it is genuine before granting anything — that check is what stops a modified copy of the game awarding itself currency. We store the token and what it granted; we do not store anything about how you paid. Google's handling of your payment information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Leaderboards

Goup Jump does not currently submit your scores to any leaderboard.

If a leaderboard is switched on in a future version, the name shown on your Google Play Games profile and your score would be visible to other players. This page will say so before that version is released, not after.

7. Permissions the app requests

The game does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or advertising identifiers.

8. Children

Goup Jump is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has connected an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Deleting your data

You can delete everything, including your account and the progress stored on our servers. The data deletion page explains both the in-app route and how to ask us directly.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to receive a copy. Write to the address in section 12 and we will answer within 30 days. Because we hold so little — no name, no email, no location — a request usually amounts to your scores, your balances and your list of owned items.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes affecting what we collect will be made before the relevant feature ships, not after.
